Conclusion
October 9, 2000
Source control is often a must have in development environments,
whether you're editing HTML documents, or GIF images, or database
schemas. You can imagine the headaches larger environments
such as Enfused.com, which has over 30,000 documents and several
editors, would have to face if changes were often over written.
Source control is fairly simple to implement, and doesn't have to
be costly at all. Hopefully, you can now stop pulling out your hair
and screaming at other writers knowing that your content is safe.
Happy scripting!
