One of the most overused words in the history of the Internet has to be
"dynamic", which can seemingly mean anything from the very dry
(data that changes) to the very hip (exuberant! exciting!). Not afraid to
hop onto the linguistic fashion bandwagon, let us state loud and proud that
personalization is a great way to add 'dynamicism' to your web site.
Vaguely put, personalization includes any features that allow your visitors
to customize the appearance or behavior of the web site to meet their
personal needs. This month's we'll begin an overview of web site
personalization features, and a very simple approach limited to cookie
technology.
